Burn IN test or stress testing is an important part of testing electronic semiconductor devices, ICs, PCBs and other components. These stress and reliability testing procedures detect failures in product samples so that weak or defective parts can be removed. Usually this testing is performed at temperatures of 100°C inside a closed, controlled chamber known as Burin In Test Oven (or Burn-in Oven or Burn In Test Chamber). Burn In Ovens are designed for long-term operation (typically weeks to months). It is mandatory for a Burn In Test Oven to have uniform temperature distribution throughout the chamber and facility to connect an external power supply to devices placed inside.
